"Tunngle Elite" (Volunteer & Community Manager)

Tunngle was a P2P VPN service designed for multiplayer gaming which allowed gamers to play LAN games over the internet. The software was active from September 19, 2008 and had more than 10 million users before its shutdown on April 30, 2018.

“Tunngle Elite” was the official term used to denote the 6 highly valued members from the community who — for their outstanding contribution to the Tunngle gaming community and to the growth of the software platform — were selected to work closely with the highly skilled Tunngle team.

As a Tunngle Elite, I worked closely with the Tunngle team on tasks such as:

  • Perform blackbox tests of the new version release candidates
  • Creating graphics, artworks and UI themes
  • Adding Bengali language to the platform
  • Brainstorm new features
  • Provide extensive community support on the forums

My roles included:

  • Moderator of the Bengali regional forum
  • Moderator of the public game forums
  • Moderator of the public chat box

I was also the winner of the "Tunngle Artwork Contest 2013" (September 2013).
